A word from Annie
There are as many ways to heal as there are healers. My approach, based on my psychological and healing background and my experiences, has evolved over the last 30 years. My psychotherapeutic approach is based on a transpersonal model which acknowledges that each of us is part of the collective and we have our own innate wisdom which we can connect to through our higher-self. As a healer, I act as a tuning fork which enables the client to connect to their source.
Comments on different approaches to healing
This blog is about ‘healing advice’ and I appreciate that there are many ways to heal: physical, emotional, mental and spiritual, depending on the therapist’s approach and training. However, in all our interactions with another person it is important we are able to stay centred and balanced, not giving our energy away to clients inadvertently or, allowing clients to take energy from us or, leaving us with their issues which we then end up processing. So, the energetic dynamic between therapist and client is an essential component to staying healthy.
I have found that the greatest challenge for me is being able to stay balanced in my closer relationships with friends and family, as we are more subjective and open, and therefore potentially more vulnerable.
